Story: Valentine's Ball.
Summary: Lily Evans and James Potter being cute at the Valentine's Ball at Hogwarts yesterday.

James: *running around like he's lost his brain. He can't find Sirius and Remus, he can't find Lily, and Everybody is stairing at him like he's stupid and can't find his way around the castle or something*
Lily: *is walking back out of the common room her hair fixed carrying a new pair of shoes*
James: *takes off his glasses for the 15th time and rubs his face* where is she.... *paces the floor, looking down, trying not to look at the people stairing at him*
Lily: *walks back into the room the ball is in, looking for James*
James: *walks over to the punch bowl wathing it refil itself* good.... *watches Peter sit in the corner with a plate of food, grateful that he's away from him right now. he doesn't want to be bothered with him right now. he's too worried about lily being two hours late*
Lily: *she see's James walking up to him* *she's wearing a long flowin dress, her hair curled with pink roses at the top of the curles. does not look like the clumsly Lily he knows* Hello James.... *smiles uneasly* Sorry Im late
James: *he turns around and sees her. time has stood still for James Potter* You look......... you look.... magnificent......
Lily: *laughs lightly* Thank you, and you *looks him up and down* You look like a true gentleman
James: *looks away and musses up his hair for the 40th time* Thank you.....
Lily: *fixes his hair for him* Don't fidget... so *looks around nervously* Are we still going to dance?
James: *shakes his head* no... it was supposed to be first... *smiles* but.. I'm kind of glad you're late... if I was late..... I'd look stupid... you just look stunning.
Lily: *looks down actually feeling bad shes shes so late* I fell down the steps because me shoe broke.... *looks at the dance floor*
James: *his eyebrows shoot up* Are you alright?
Lily: Yes of corse I am.... *looks again at the dance floor* James?
James: Hm? *is still stairing at her*
Lily: Can we dance anyway?
James: Hm? *not really hearing her, just taking in her beauty for the time being*
Lily: *holds out her hand with is baby pink satin glove* May I have this dance?
James: *takes her hand then "man" way and pulls her to the dance floor. the floor imediately clears for them. and he puts his head down* Sirius taught me how to dance yesterday well... earlyer today.... like... at 4 am.
Lily: *laughs, looking into his eyes* Don't be nervous.... *whispers setting her hands in the proper place* dance with your heart.... *smiles*
James: *quickly pushes his glasses up higher so he an see her clearly. And then begin. He's smiling almost the entire time* I love you.....
Lily: *dancing like shes done it her whole life gliding with ease around the floor. Smiles looking into his eyes* I love you too
James: *frowns at her ease, and catches up with her. While she's floating on air, he's struggling to swim* Where... did you.....
Lily: *laughs lightly* Some of the girls rescued me from my clumsiness... *sees how hes strugling* just relax... right now.... *moves her face next to his touching cheek to cheek* Its just you and me
James: *relaxes a little* But they're stairing at us...... this is worse than a quidditch match.....
Lily: *pulls back to look into his eyes* Look into my eyes.... we're the only ones here *smiles lovingly*
James: *falls deeply into the green emralds that he's loved since first sight of them*
Lily: *the song comes to an end but shes still standing there holding him* *the rest of the room silent*
James: *pulls her close and kisses her full on the mouth, not caring who's looking at them*
Lily: *gives into the kiss wraping her arms around his neck, kissing fully in return*
James: *wraps his arms around her waist and continues the kiss as the room cheers and whoops*
Lily: *hears all the cheers and realizes there in front of everyone but still holds him tight*
James: *pulls back slightly and leans his forehead against her's lightly and laughs*
Lily: *laughs lightly* I love you James....
James: I love you too Evans. *kisses her cheek and takes her off the floor* Now that we've made a spectical of ourselves. *laughs*
Lily: *laughs* Thank you for dancing with me..... And for once in my life making me feel graceful *smiles*
James: You're always graceful, Lily.
Lily: *leans in and just holds him*
James: *hugs her close, knowing he'll never let her go for the rest of his life*
Lily: *lays her head on his chest, never wanting this moment to end*
James: *kisses her forhead* You look amazing.
Lily: *smiles blushing lightly* so do you....
